TL;DR:
- You get 1 strike per rule violation.
- 3 strikes = 1 week termination, 6 = permanent.
- You can report via Discord (right-click > Apps > Report) or by opening a request.
- Appeals can be made within 14 days through a request.
- Good-faith reports based on suspicion are encouraged and never punished.
- Unverified Discord users are temporary members and may be removed without warning.
Ordonnia is a place where identity, creativity, and community meet. To protect this space, moderation is in place to ensure the Guidelines and Terms of Service are respected — with fairness, transparency, and a commitment to the vibe that makes Ordonnia what it is.
The Strike System
Moderation in Ordonnia is based on a simple three-tiered strike system:
- 1 strike for every infringement of the Guidelines or Terms of Service
- 3 strikes results in a one-week termination of your identity
- 6 strikes leads to a permanent termination
Strikes are cumulative and visible to Ordonnia Help agents. If you believe a strike is unfair, you can appeal — more on that below.
Temporary Members on Discord
Anyone present on the Discord server who has not linked a valid Ordonnia Identity to their Discord account is considered a temporary member. The strike-based moderation system does not apply to them.
Instead, we reserve the right to take any moderation action we see fit, including instant removal from the server without warning. If you're a temporary member, you can verify yourself and gain full protection under the Identity system by following the guide here: Verify Myself on Discord.
Encouraging Reports
Everyone in Ordonnia plays a role in keeping the community safe and welcoming. If you see something that might break the Guidelines or just feels wrong, don’t hesitate to report it.
Reports made in good faith — even if just based on suspicion — are always welcome. If the report turns out to be unfounded, no action will be taken against you. It’s always better to report and be safe than to stay silent.
Your help keeps Ordonnia clean, safe, and vibrant.
How to Report Something
On Discord
If you see a message that violates the Guidelines:
- Right-click the message
- Select "Apps"
- Click "Report to Ordonnia"
If the message was deleted or otherwise inaccessible, you'll need to open a request manually through Ordonnia Help.
Anywhere Else
Just open a request to report any content or behavior that goes against the Guidelines.
Who Handles Reports
Moderation is carried out by Ordonnia Help, the internal team responsible for upholding rules while considering context, community cohesion, and overall vibe.
Ordonnia Help applies the rules as follows:
- Slight rule breaks that don’t disrupt the community are usually tolerated.
- Serious violations, especially those against the Terms of Service or Privacy Policy, are enforced strictly.
- All actions are taken without bias. Any action found to be biased is automatically invalid.
Moderation agents remain anonymous and are forbidden from revealing their identity regarding actions taken.
Exemptions from the Guidelines
Sometimes, exceptions are needed:
- Ordonnia Help may give temporary rule exemptions if it benefits the community.
- Administration members can give exemptions at any time, without conditions.
- Only a superior can revoke these exemptions.
How to Appeal a Strike
If you believe a strike was unfair, you have 14 days to appeal. After that, it becomes final.
To appeal:
- Open a request to Ordonnia Help
- If your appeal is refused, you can request a review by a Moderative Council
Complaints About Other Users
You can also file complaints about users or even staff:
- To report a user, open a request through official channels.
- If the complaint is about Ordonnia Help, you'll be redirected to an Administrator.
- Complaints are reviewed by someone higher in hierarchy than the person being complained about.
- You are only notified if your complaint succeeds. If not resolved within 30 days, it is considered denied.
- If unresolved, you can ask for a Moderative Council to examine it.
Final Word
Ordonnia's moderation system aims to be fair, flexible, and transparent. Strikes exist to protect the identity and culture of the world we're building together, not to punish but to guide. If you need help, want to report something, or appeal a strike, open a request. Ordonnia Help is here for you.
